A 2012 rat study found that the combination of caffeine and THC impaired memory more than THC alone and a 2018 study reported that heavy coffee consumption (4-8 cups daily for two months) reduced the levels of endocannabinoid system metabolites. One 2016 study even explored the negative effects of waking and baking.
