Cannabis is a plant that has been used for centuries for medicinal and recreational purposes. It is also known as marijuana, pot, weed, grass, or ganja. Cannabis is believed to have originated in Central Asia and is now grown in many parts of the world. The reason cannabis is so often used in many cultures is for two things: its THC and CBD. THC is the more popular of the two cannabinoids , as it is the active ingredient that causes the high we associate cannabis with.
