The House Judiciary Committee approved a 2019 bill to decriminalize marijuana at the federal level and end cannabis prohibition on Wednesday. The Marijuana Opportunity Reinvestment and Expungement (MORE) Act passed by a vote of 24 to 10 after more than two hours of debate. Two Republican representatives, Matt Gaetz (R-FL) and Tom McClintock (R-CA), joined the 22 Democrats who voted for the bill.
