A bill on Governor Gavin Newsom’s desk could make it more affordable for cannabis operators to donate cannabis to medical patients. Senate Bill 34 would remove state taxes imposed on such donations by the fine print in the law that legalized adult use cannabis three years ago. Full article: [link].

This makes a lot of sense – why force a medical customer to haul themselves to a dispensary multiple times per week or month when they may be suffering from a debilitating disease? Edible product THC limits are 10mg THC per serving and 100mg THC per package. Medical cannabis products can be a whole lot stronger. Free cannabis???

What about the option of donating the confiscated cannabis to a veteran program to be utilized in making RSO? Dispensaries that dispose of cannabis in the state of Colorado have special lockboxes where the product is dropped into. This product is submerged in a bleach-like solution rendering it completely useless.
