Illinois proposes amendments to Industrial Hemp Act

The Illinois General Assembly Joint Committee on Administrative Rules (JCAR) released today several new proposals from the Illinois Department of Agriculture (DOA) to amend the Illinois Industrial Hemp Act. The acceptable THC level for commercial hemp and hemp products is no more than 0.3 percent by dry weight.
