Oregon-like legalization of “magic” mushrooms is the goal of the Colorado ballot measure

Colorado could decriminalize the personal use and possession of certain psychedelic plants and fungi, including “magic mushrooms,” and create a Natural Medicine Access Program, according to a voter initiative on the November ballot. Oregon also was the first state to decriminalize certain other drugs with 2020’s passage of Measure 110.

USA: Testing People for Marijuana Impairment Based on THC Levels is ‘Not Reliable,’ Federally Funded Study Finds

Samples of blood, urine, and oral fluid were collected from study participants before cannabis dosing and then nearly every hour for eight hours after dosing. The researchers reported that the one leg stand, walk and turn, and modified Romberg balance tests were not sensitive to cannabis intoxication for any of the study participants.
