A hydroponic farmer has purchased a plot of land in Queensland for A$4.65 million as part of ongoing plans to construct a cannabis facility near Ipswich. Drew Steptoe, who runs Hydroganics, acquired the 225-hectare plot in Mutdapilly from camel farmer Paul Martin. The 225-hectate site will be used to expand Hydroganics’ $333m medicinal cannabis facility in Queensland.

Under a proposal by city Alderman Brian Hopkins, CBD shops in Chicago would be prohibited from advertising themselves as “dispensaries.”. According to the Chicago Tribune, the proposal also would prohibit CBD retailers “from advertising with the image of a cannabis leaf or bud – as licensed dispensaries are forbidden to do – or a green cross.”.
