What are some of the more common reasons dermatologists recommend cannabinoid-based medicines? According to the results of a survey of 145 dermatologists, 91 % of dermatologists were in support of medical cannabis use and 13.8 % have recommended it for a dermatologic condition. Atopic dermatitis (45 %) and psoriasis (40 %) were the most common conditions for which the medical cannabis was recommended.

KUAM NEWS. The long-delayed rules and regulations for adult-use cannabis are now in effect. They were approved by default after the Guam Legislature let them lapse into law without any action. Senators had 90 days from the date of submission to pass, amend or reject the cannabis rules and regs. They took no action, and the deadline lapsed on May 31.

An organization representing mayors from across the U.S. adopted a resolution imploring Congress to pass a bill to safeguard banks that work with state-legal marijuana businesses from federal penalties. The U.S. Conference of Mayors approved the measure during the body’s 90th annual meeting on Monday. Last year, the organization adopted a separate measure calling for an end federal cannabis prohibition and promoting social equity in the industry.

Cannabis Business Times reports. A second lawsuit has been filed to challenge Detroit’s revised adult-use cannabis ordinance, which City Council members approved in April. Medical cannabis company JARS Cannabis filed the lawsuit in Wayne County Circuit Court June 3, arguing that the ordinance violates Michigan law, according to the Detroit Free Press.
