Arizona Supreme Court Launches Site To Help People Expunge Marijuana Convictions

Marijuana Moment… The Arizona Supreme Court on Wednesday announced that it has launched a website to help people expunge their past marijuana conviction records, pursuant to the legalization initiative that voters approved last year. “Provisions for expunging records that show the arrest, charge, adjudication, conviction, or sentence of certain marijuana-related offenses take effect July 12, 2021,” the court said.

California toddler died in hot car while mother allegedly grew pot plants

A California mother allegedly left her 3-year-old daughter to bake in a hot car while she tended to marijuana plants, police said Friday. Little Jessica Campos was left in the parked vehicle for up to three hours Thursday before being discovered, Visalia Police said in a press release. The temperature in the car “was determined to be at least 100 degrees at the time of the incident” and left the toddler unable to breathe, cops said.
