Nevada: CCB Approves Cannabis Consumption Lounge Regulations

(LAS VEGAS, NV) – Today, the Nevada Cannabis Compliance Board (CCB) voted unanimously to approve regulations surrounding the licensing and operation of cannabis consumption lounges. Additionally, half of the independent consumption lounge licenses in the initial round must be awarded to social equity applicants.

Nevada SC Rules “state law protecting “lawful activities” or “lawful off-duty conduct” does not apply to non-medical cannabis consumption”

In a decision last week, the Nevada Supreme Court ruled that the state law protecting “lawful activities” or “lawful off-duty conduct” does not apply to non-medical cannabis consumption, according to an Ogletree Deakins report.
