Referred to as a “selective CB2 agonist ,” such a compound would appear to have potential as a treatment for scleroderma.
On October 9, 2019, the Washington State Board of Health (“BOH”) voted to adopt emergency rules banning flavored vapor products, including marijuana products, in Washington State. The U.S. cannabis industry is still in its infancy, even though states began engaging with legalization in one form or another in the late 1990s. QUEBEC — The Quebec government says it will appeal a decision invalidating parts of Quebec‘s cannabis law that prohibited home cultivation. On Sept. 3, Quebec Superior Court Justice Manon Lavoie ruled Quebec’s legislation infringed upon the jurisdiction of the federal government, which has sole responsibility for legislating on criminal matters.
The Camarillo City Council rejected a proposed moratorium on industrial hemp cultivation, bucking the trend of hemp bans in other cities in the county. The ordinance , which needed a four-fifths vote to pass, was rejected 3-2 in a council vote during a meeting on Wednesday night. Mayor Kevin Kildee, Vice Mayor Tony Trembley and Councilwoman Charlotte Craven voted in favor of the moratorium, while council members Shawn Mulchay and Susan Santangelo voted against it.

The Southern Nevada Health District (SNHD) has reported its first confirmed case of a serious respiratory illness related to vaping in Clark County. This report comes amid various other reports from around the country, where e-cigarette related illnesses have been spiking. A potential new party to a lawsuit filed against the New Mexico Department of Health could further complicate the issue of how much medical cannabis is enough for the state. Clinical studies are about to get underway at an Australia university, to track changes in actual dementia patients to see if cannabis can help with dementia and related issues. The study will be led by the Institute for Health Research at the University of Notre Dame in Perth.
