In 2012, I was proud to help fund and promote the passage of I-502 which legalized, taxed, and regulated marijuana in my home state of Washington. Legislation is currently stalled in the House and Senate to allow adults to cultivate up to six marijuana plants in their homes. But, even more simply, it just makes sense.

New Hampshire House lawmakers today approved legislation, House Bill 1648 , eliminating criminal and civil penalties for activities involving possession and home cultivation of personal use quantities of cannabis. The measure legalizes the possession of up to 3/4 of an ounce of marijuana by those age 21 or older.

New Hampshire: Home Cultivation Legislation Advances

Senate lawmakers have passed legislation, SB 420 , permitting state-authorized patients to home cultivate cannabis for their own personal use. Under the proposed measure, patients registered with the state’s medical cannabis access program would be permitted to grow up to three mature cannabis plants at home.
