The Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) announced recreational cannabis sales totals for January 2025. After setting a new annual-sales total in 2024, Illinois kicked off 2025 with the highest January sales total since legalization. Illinois dispensaries sold 3,958,808 cannabis items in January 2025.

Following February 2025 totals that dropped nearly $5 million from February 2024 totals, the March 2025 sales finished $1.4 million from March 2024 totals.
