News Joint Events invites all players of Texas Hold em to join the News Joint Scholarship Fundraiser, which supports students attending or wanting to attend Southern Illinois University Carbondale and Oakton College cannabis programs. The inaugural News Joint Scholarship Texas Hold em poker tournament is scheduled for 11 a.m.-8 p.m. May 17 at Emerald Dispensary and Lounge.
