This week, the new craft grow team at IC Collective dropped five new strains as part of its Illinois launch. Of course, I chose to review first the strain most likely to fit our Work Sativa series, Cali Sour. Cali Sour is a sativa-leaning hybrid cross of Cali Chem (Cookies N Chem and Chem 91) and Sour Diesel.

I’ve been eyeing Nature’s Grace and Wellness’ Twenty Twenty brand for quite a while now and but not able to sampled the flower until after picking up the sativa judging kit, which included the Twenty Twenty’s sole contender for sativa flower, Wonka Bars. Even with the high energy level, I remained calm and collected for the duration.

As part of the 420 celebrations, Sunnyside dispensaries in Illinois are offering for a limited time discounted Cresco products via The 420 Collection. So I stopped of at Sunnyside Champaign and picked up four samples from the collection, including this Slurricrasher eighth. Slurricrasher landed with traditional hybrid effects.

And yet, no one has ever figured out who made the hybrid. Adequately dense, but not rock hard, the nugs are pale green with orange hairs and, while its appearance does showcase a bit of frostiness from the trichomes, it’s not incredibly sticky to the touch. Sure, the early 21 st century’s great Blue Dream flood has since receded.
