Lightford to hosts town hall on cannabis law

The passing of Senate Bill 1559 is another example of how the Cannabis Regulation and Tax Act continues to evolve. Next week, Senate Majority Leader Kimberly A. Lightford is scheduled to host an informative town hall meeting to discuss several aspects of Illinois’ sometimes confusing cannabis law. The event is free and open to the public. Residents are encouraged to join Lightford and a variety of experts and stakeholders from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 15.
