The FDA announced in a press release on Monday that it had approved the “first drug comprised of an active ingredient derived from marijuana to treat rare, severe forms of epilepsy.”. Use of CBD in seizure prevention is well-documented with research ; and now, after conducting its own trials, the FDA appears to agree.

Cannabinoids (natural and plant-derived) interact with endocannabinoid receptors to regulate appetite, sleep, pain, stress, and more. However, CBD will provide many medicinal benefits including reducing inflammation, pain, anxiety, stress, migraines, seizures, depression, and the ability to obtain a much deeper sleep so you can wake up well rested and ready to tackle your daily tasks.
