May medical cannabis sales total $24.4M

The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) today released its May medical cannabis sales totals. The May totals reached $24,413,018.67, a slight dip from April’s totals. In 2023, after a peak in March, monthly totals declined until December 2023, with a slight bump in October. Monthly totals for 2024 are trending the same. In May, Illinois dispensaries sold $11,692,661.11 in dry flower sales and $12,720,357.56 in concentrates/infused products.
