During the height of cannabis prohibition, admitting consumption was very risky. In fact, its history as a dangerous, illicit narcotic is dwarfed by its history as a medicine. Once these individuals were identified from the survey, I conducted in depth interviews to learn more about their consumption and the motivations behind it.
