Thee strain for Aries season

Rams are the firstborns of the Zodiac, so it makes total sense that we often look to them as movers and shakers in this world. Their energy is infectious and many are drawn into the siren call of their confidence and zest. Rams can also be impulsive and miscalculation.

Falling into their romantic orbit also always involves some level of chaos. That said, their positivity and optimism can lead those closest to them out of truly dark times, and couldn’t we all use a friend like that in our corner?

Aries season this year is about finding balance. The balance between the kind of chaos that invites thrilling and fun new adventures, and the kind of discernment that will keep you in your lane when you need to be kept in your lane. It’s also a month for taking on responsibilities and finding the leader inside of you that is capable of powerful, great things.

With all of this in mind, the strain for Aries season 2022 is First Light.

This hybrid strain is an ideal balance between potent, skunky terpenes and energizing cerebral effects — perfect for anyone looking for a little equilibrium this season. Users love it for its mellow buzz and delicious taste.

Fire signs will fair well in Aries season. Aries is the first Fire sign in the zodiac and the abundance of energy this season brings will be an especially big boost for fellow Fire Stargazers, Leo and Sagittarius. Tread carefully though, flames that look tame can pack the most heat.

While other signs will be attempting to strike balance during this first month of the Zodiac calendar, Fire signs will want to focus more heavily on introspection, and less on leadership. Take a closer look before you leap this month.

If you’re looking to mellow out this Aries season:

Classic, dependable indica strains like Grandaddy Purple, Northern Lights, and Bubba Kush are where it’s at. These strains have moderate THC levels and are more sedating than energizing.

Learning to put your oxygen mask on first is a priority this season. You can start by packing a bowl, putting your phone on “Do Not Disturb,” and taking a big nap on your couch.

If you’re looking for some energy during Aries season:

If creative energy is what you seek this fiery season, try sativa strains like Strawberry Cough, Haze, and Sour Diesel.

These strains all have roughly 18 to 19 percent THC — a decent, but not overwhelming potency (for most.) Pack a bowl, take a hike, get those artistic juices flowing.

Strains for earth signs

Fire seasons can be especially tough for grounded, stubborn Earth signs like Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn. Pay no mind to any biting comments you receive over the course of Aries season — people are just trying to work out their own dramas on your stage. This is the perfect time to tap into your potential as a leader.

You have great ideas, but people often fail to take you seriously. This is the time to show them that you have what it takes and that you can rise to the occasion like the best of them.

Speak up in meetings when someone talks over you, set that firm but loving boundary with a friend, give that hard-earned wisdom to someone you care about. Life is short and your worth is unquestionable.

If you’re looking to mellow out this Aries season:

Try high-THC strains like Ice Cream Cake, Zkittlez, and King Louis. These strains all have THC levels 20 percent and above, meaning the effects of these strains won’t be shy. But, that is the kind of energy you’re looking to cultivate, so lean into it! Take that nap on the floor or doze off with a book in your hands.

If you’re looking for some energy during Aries season:

Smoke some zesty sativa strains like French Cookies, Sour Flower, and ECSD. These strains all feature heavy limonene terpenes which give them a delightful and energizing citrus flavor.

In addition, French Cookies and ECSD are high-THC strains so those cerebral effects should pack a punch. Roll a j, pack a picnic, and head out to the park with some friends for a delightful spring adventure.

Strains for air signs

You’re in luck, Air signs. Fire seasons tend to bode well for go-with-the-flow signs like Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius. While others will probably struggle to find direction this season, you will be fully in the zone. Focus on helping others relax and find peace in chaos.

While it’s true that fire can be fueled by wind and rage out of control, your happy influence also carries far and wide. This is a great time to use your outgoing personality to draw those in who are struggling. Be a kind, warm ear to someone during Aries season. Throw a party. Make a strange piece of art and gift it to someone. Make someone laugh. Your influence is powerful and you can tap into it for the common good this month!

If you’re looking to mellow out this Aries season:

Aim for low-THC indica strains like Ayahuasca Purple, Pennywise, and Remedy. These strains also have a myrcene terpene profile, giving them a delicious and grounding earthy flavor. Tap into some nature videos, relax on the couch, and watch the day drift away.

If you’re looking for some energy during Aries season:

This Fire season is perfect for a giggly, hybrid strain. Try out some GG4, Blue Dream, and/or Sherbert. Uninhibited, happy energy is going to be in high demand. Fill your tank and get the party started.

Strains for water signs

No need to sugarcoat it, Fire seasons are tough for Water signs like Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces. The strong, take-charge Aries energy doesn’t mesh well with sweet, sensitive Water babes. But, that doesn’t mean this month has to be a wash.

Take all of the bold Ram energy this month and use it to advocate for your own needs. Practice setting boundaries with people who are likely to abuse your kindness. Don’t answer the phone if you don’t feel like it. Grow some horns this month and you’ll be glad you did for the rest of the year.

If you’re looking to mellow out this Aries season:

Fire and water don’t always mix. To really settle into yourself this season, try high-TCH, relaxing hybrid strains like Dosidos, Wappa, and Animal Mints. All of these strains are 20 percent THC or more, making them a more relaxing and sedating than energizing. Just what Dr. Mary Jane ordered this month.

If you’re looking for some energy during Aries season:

You could probably use a dose of sweetness during Aries season. Sativa strains with a myrcene terpene profile like Haze, Sunshine, and Maui Wowie deliver a fruity, energizing taste. These strains also have moderate amounts of THC and uplifting effects. Take everything with a grain of salt (and a squeeze of lemon) this month — you’ll make it through!
