Peninsula Alternative Health Opens Silver Spring Location
As the largest medical cannabis dispensary on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, we at Peninsula Alternative Health are proud to announce that we have opened our second location in Silver Spring, Maryland!
We opened our first location in 2017 in Salisbury to serve Maryland District 37, which includes portions of Caroline, Dorchester, Talbot and Wicomico Counties.
As we take over and rebrand the Divine Medicine Cannabis Dispensary located on Georgia Ave. in Silver Spring, we’re exciting to bring our patient-centric model to the Washington DC area.

Peninsula Alternative Health currently offers the most diversity of cannabis products in the state of Maryland, and medical cannabis patients can expect to see more robust offerings at the new Silver Spring location and future enhancements including delivery.
Patients will also experience a new level of care due to the in-depth training of patient consultants led by the skilled PAH training team.

From the beginning, Peninsula Alternative Health took the independent route. When we first submitted our dispensary application years ago, we did it ourselves with about $5,000. We then raised $188,000 to open the original 2,000-square-foot dispensary, with $50,000 of that going straight to the Maryland Medical Cannabis Commission.
We later moved into our new 8,800-square-foot space on Mount Hermon Road, where we’ve been able to expand and provide medicinal cannabis to many more patients.
This next step in expanding to Silver Spring will bring our focus on wellness and our patient-first approach to more patients in Maryland, and we couldn’t be happier! Stay tuned for updates and news on our new location!
