Peninsula Alternative Health (PAH)  celebrated the opening of its medical cannabis dispensary doors in Salisbury, Maryland, on January 19, 2018.

The free ribbon-cutting celebration was open to the public and began with a private tour of the dispensary to Bunky Luffman of the Office of Governor Larry Hogan, Wicomico County Council President John Cannon, and Wicomico County councilman Ernie Davis by CEO Anthony Darby.

At noon, Darby and COO Chuck Henn spoke to 47 ABC’s Julian Sadur in the Danang Room at Wicomico Youth & Civic Center in Salisbury. The duo answered common questions from the online community about medical cannabis and PAH, while present audience members were treated to take-home brochures, a schedule of the day’s events, personalized pens, and more.

Beginning at 1 p.m., Darby gave a 45-minute question-and-answer presentation to an audience of about 35 potential patients and their families in the community. Darby’s presentation covered the history of cannabis, the state of medical cannabis in Maryland, qualifying conditions for this alternative treatment, and the process for patient registration.
