DCC provides notice of modifications to proposed regulatory action for consolidated medicinal and adult-use commercial cannabis activity regulations

July 6, 2022

The Department of Cannabis Control (DCC) is providing notice of its modifications to the proposed rulemaking to permanently adopt consolidated Medicinal and Adult-Use Commercial Cannabis Activity regulations.

Notice of Modifications of Proposed Text for Consolidated Medicinal and Adult-Use Commercial Cannabis Activity Regulations

DCC is providing notice to the public of modifications to the proposed regulatory action to adopt consolidated Medicinal and Adult-Use Commercial Cannabis Activity regulations. These modifications provide changes to the text of regulations previously noticed to the public on March 4, 2022.

The purpose of these regulations is to make permanent the emergency regulations DCC adopted on September 27, 2021 and March 28, 2022, following the consolidation of the three original cannabis licensing authorities into the new DCC.

This rulemaking action would consolidate, clarify, and make consistent licensing and enforcement criteria for commercial cannabis businesses, including cultivators, manufacturers, distributors, retailers, microbusinesses, testing laboratories, and temporary cannabis events in addition to other regulatory changes.
