Changes coming to medical marijuana billPosted by On

Governor Tate Reeves will see more changes to the medical marijuana law this year.

This comes after the legislation set out to tackle inconsistent regulation that was leaving dispensaries and cultivators confused.

Many regulations are being changed and help is hard to reach.

Additions to the law include a 10-day turn-around for medical cannabis cards, setting a clear THC limit, and safety precautions.

Unclear instructions puts these companies at risk of losing their license. Bee’s Buds CEO Barbara Wilson said, “We were so afraid of not being compliant with the state that it just became very difficult to keep up with everything, all the changes. When you call the office, you get a voicemail.”
