How To Get A Maryland Medical Marijuana Card?

To get your Maryland medical marijuana card, follow these simple steps:

  • Have an online telemedicine consultation with a registered Maryland MMJ provider. This can be arranged at the MMJRecs online clinic.
  • Once your suitability for MMJ treatment has been verified by the MMJ provider, you will be emailed a Maryland medical marijuana certification within 24–48 hours.
  • You must then submit a Maryland MMJ card application to the MMCC website. Your application will be submitted online and must include your Maryland medical marijuana certification, payment, a photo, and identification (suitable forms of ID are: driver’s license, state issued photo Identification card, military ID [both front and back], US passport). If the identification you provide is not a Maryland driver’s license or MVA ID Card, or does not identify your current address, you must also provide two documents that prove your current Maryland address.

If you have an in-person consultation, you will get your medical marijuana certification immediately. Once you submit your application for a Maryland MMJ card, you should allow 45 business days for your application to be processed and your card to be mailed to you.

How Much Does A Maryland MMJ Card Cost?

A Maryland medical marijuana card costs $25. MMJ cards in Maryland are valid for three years. When your card expires, you must renew it for a fee of $25.
