Review: White Wedding RBX Live Rosin by Legacy
Illinois’ limited number of licenses means only a handful of labels are putting out legal rosin. The licensee behind Legacy has been producing legal solventless options in state for arguably longer than anyone, so I pay attention when they drop new strains. I recently picked up a gram of Legacy’s White Wedding RBX Live Rosin Jam to review.
White Wedding RBX is a hybrid cross of Wedding Cake, Mandarin Cookies, and Crescendo, originally bred by Ethos Genetics. This batch of live rosin tested at 3.2% CBGa, 18.61% THC, 63.39% THCa, and 86.75% total cannabinoids. Terpenes were 5.52% of the total weight with β-myrcene, limonene, β-caryophyllene, and linalool being the heaviest.
A glossy golden pool carried a shimmer from the bottom of the jar and shone with a bright sunflower yellow tone on my tool. Tiny crystals inside the terp-heavy jelly provided some structure to the glossy dabs when dosing, but overall the consistency was similar to room temperature butter.
Breaking the seal on the jar released a savory blend of garlic, aged cheddar, and black pepper at the front, followed closely by a sharper blend of pine, menthol, lime, strawberry, and over ripened blackberry. The top end of the flavor profile carried a toned-down mix of the garlic and pepper but blended into the sweet berry and lime notes to create a natural rounded tone that lingered on the palate post exhale for quite some time.
White Wedding RBX was quick to provide a strong body buzz that sent waves of vibration outward from my chest. A daze set into my awareness leaving me spaced out for the first ten minutes before bringing me down to a relaxed mindset for the next hour. White Wedding RBX was also a good fit as a nightcap and could lull me to sleep if timed correctly. For more Illinois News Joint reviews, visit here.
