Veronica Perez is a seasoned Public Affairs professional in the Los Angeles Market for over 20 years, advising Fortune 500 companies and nonprofits on navigating the regulatory and political environment.
Anh Nguyen is Vice President at Veronica Perez & Associates and brings over 14 years of experience in local, state, and federal government. Her expertise in community engagement, public/government affairs, land use, and transportation has helped clients navigate through a complex political and policy environment in California.
Jonatan Cvetko is the Executive Director of the United Cannabis Business Association (UCBA), and brings many years of dedication towards developing a more collaborative relationship between regulators, communities, and those seeking to operate responsible cannabis businesses.
He hosts the LA County Cannabis Policy Seminar, a comprehensive seminar discussing responsible regulations amongst LA County’s 89 jurisdictions and works closely with many of LA County’s cities towards implementing responsible cannabis regulations.
Ariel Clark (she/her) is an attorney, activist, and co-founder of Clark Howell LLP, a women-steered law firm focused on cannabis, hemp and psychedelics. She works closely with clients across the supply chain on a myriad of regulatory, business and legal challenges. Ariel’s extensive legal and political expertise provide valuable counsel to other trailblazers building successful and impactful companies, products, and services.
Katie Podein is an attorney on the Clark Howell LLP team and has advised cannabis companies throughout the supply chain since 2015. In her role at CHLLP, Katie advises on all manner of operations from daily legal issues – compliance, contracts, intellectual property, litigation, and employment – to strategy for supply chain and corporate transactions.
