Review: Orange Sunset Pod by Stiiizy
When I started smoking cannabis, flower was the only option. The proliferation of options for dosing cannabinoids has been one of the biggest benefits of the legal market, and now, instead of simply smoking a joint for relief, patients have access to a holistic arsenal that can help anytime and anywhere. One of my personal favorite tools is an “emergency vape” that I can keep with me and turn to when other options aren’t convenient. I picked up my latest choice, the Stiiizy Orange Sunset pod at Consume Marion.
Stiiizy Orange Sunset Pod is a cannabis distillate infused with botanically derived terpenes. This pod tested at 75.85% THC and 81.3% total cannabinoid. All the hardware in the Stiiizy ecosystem is extremely simple to use. Pop the pod from the box, slide it into the magnetic battery slot. and you’re ready to vape. The Orange Sunset pod was a deep yellow-amber translucent oil.
The flavor was a light blend of candied orange peel and artificial cherry at the top end with a more rounded and surprising finish of tangy hops. This blend was one of my favorites of the Stiiizy botanically derived line. It had some back-end complexity that I didn’t find in the others. The light touch of the battery ensured that no matter how large or frequent my hits were, the flavor remained consistent for the duration of the pod.
The high hit quickly with a light pressure setting in at my arms and crown, followed closely by a mental calm. My appetite increased with high doses, an effect I’ve never found in a distillate vape before. Thankfully, for my waistline this was short lived with the entire experience lasting no more than half an hour. There wasn’t a lot of depth to the experience even at higher multi hit doses, but it worked well as an emergency vape when on the go.
