Review: Caramel Apple White Chocolate Crunch Bar by Nature’s Grace and Wellness
Food is seasonal in nature, so it’s no surprise to see cultivators and infusers embrace the relationship between what we eat and the current season. Nature’s Grace and Wellness has recently dropped a Caramel Apple White Chocolate Crunch Bar as a fall seasonal option, so I stopped into Trinity on West Glen and picked up a sample.
The Caramel Apple White Chocolate Crunch Bar is an infused candy bar with 100mg of THC. The ingredients are sugar, vegetable oil (palm kernel oil and hydrogenated palm kernel oil), whey powder, whole milk solids, nonfat dry milk solids, milk, cocoa powder, dehydrated apples, cannabis oil (alcohol extracted), soy lecithin (an emulsifer), salt, flavor (propyiene glycol, water, natural & artificial flavor, triacetin, sweet almond oil), and paprika extract (added for color).
White chocolate with a caramel colored ribbon snaking down the center, the bar was molded so it could be broken into ten 10mg portions. Creamy and sweet, the white chocolate base provided a smooth background, highlighted by small pieces of crisp dried apple distributed throughout. The caramel note was light but present at the finish, providing a warmer cooked-sugar note that cut through the strong creamy white chocolate. Missing from the flavor profile was any indication of cannabis or distillate infusion.
The Caramel Apple White Chocolate Crunch Bar hit surprisingly quickly even when eaten after a meal, taking only 30 minutes to fully set in. Waves of physical pressure and euphoria alternated, moving head to toe for more than an hour, while a tight headband developed around my crown.
Mentally, a reduction in anxiety and a slight boost in energy made me more talkative and more aware of what was going on around me. This clearheaded Caramel Apple White Chocolate Crunch Bar was a good anytime edible option. For more Illinois News Joint reviews, visit here.
