Tahir Johnson: A Roadmap to Success for Social Justice + Social Equity Entrepreneurship in the Cannabis Industry

Tahir Johnson is deeply rooted in advocacy for social equity in the cannabis industry. He’s a Howard University graduate who worked as an investment advisor and served on the diversity council of Morgan Stanley before transitioning into cannabis, starting out as a dispensary attendant. Tahir is now a national leader for diversity, equity, and inclusion in the cannabis industry, having worked with the National Cannabis Industry Association (NCIA), the U.S. Cannabis Council, and Marijuana Policy Project.

Tahir is also a successful licensed social equity cannabis industry entrepreneur in Trenton, New Jersey. He has become the inaugural licensee partner, aligning with Wanda James, the visionary founder of the Colorado-based Simply Pure brand as owner of Simply Pure Trenton.
