With the signing of Act 78the CCB will be suspending in-person meeting attendance for the public until further notice.

Members of the public are encouraged to join meetings via Microsoft Teams.

The Cannabis Control Board announced at its Monday board meeting that it will not begin issuing cannabis licenses on May 1st, as provided for in Act 164. We do not anticipate a long delay in issuing those licenses to qualified applicants, but do ask that applicants be patient as we work to put a team in place to ensure the Vermont cannabis market will be a model for the country.

More information on this delay can be found on our website.

The Board will convene at 11am on Monday, May 2 to review staff recommendations on prequalification and to approve social equity applicant status.

And a reminder that the CCB is hiring for licensing and compliance staff. Please review the positions and apply through the Vermont Department of Human Resources website. Deadline: May 12th.
