Alert: Passing Compliance Check Deadline June 27, 2023

The CCB will vote to adopt a meeting schedule for the rest of 2023 at our June 26 Board meeting. However, the following meeting will likely be mid-July.

As such, the deadline to be on the register for staff recommendations for licensure will be on June 27, 2023.

In order to be ready for approval at the July Board meeting, an applicant must:

  • Have fully completed their application
  • Received a certificate of occupancy from fire safety (when necessary), and
  • Have passed their initial compliance site review by the CCB

As promised, the list of staff recommendations for licensure for the upcoming June Board meeting is available on the agenda for that meeting.

H.270 is now law!

Governor Scott allowed the miscellaneous cannabis regulation bill to become law without his signature.

The full bill text, along with a summary document outlining the major points of the legislation can be found on our website:

Have you seen our guidance page recently?

We’ve been hard at work editing and updating guidance documents. We’ll highlight some of them in our email blasts as they continue to roll out.

New this week – Updated record check guidance! What’s changed? Among other things, the CCB now only requires a record check upon initial licensure, and then once every two years.
