Go figure! San Antonio Current reports. So much has been going on in Texas’ court fights with municipalities over mask mandates, that it might have been easy to miss a significant legal turn about smokeable hemp in the state. Last Thursday, a Texas appeals court handed down a mixed bag of a ruling that says regulators can’t stop smokeable hemp products from being sold inside the state, online news site Marijuana Moment reports.

On April 14, 2021, according to a complaint filed by the CCB, on a routine inspection of NLVG dba Desert Bloom, CCB agents said that they allegedly found 122 cannabis plants without the required METRC tags. CCB agents reported in the complaint that they found other issues including that NLVG did not have adequate security camera coverage. Another iconic representative of the cannabis community, Charles Edward “Eddy” Lepp , has passed away after a battle with cancer. Lepp’s wife, Sandra Castaneda, posted on Facebook about the tragic news on August 16. “This morning at 2:00am my husband Charles EdwardLepp aka OG Eddy Lepp passed away in his sleep.”.
