Guam’s Medical Cannabis Commission Says To Politicians. Now Legislation Has Passed Can We Have Some Money To Put Plan Into Action

The report reveals there isn’t much money in the coffers at the moment. The Medical Cannabis Regulation Commission on Friday voted unanimously to petition Guam lawmakers to revise their spending plan to include funding for implementation of the long-stalled medicinal marijuana program. In its 2020 budget request, the Department of Public Health and Social Services asked for $750,000 from the Healthy Futures Fund to fund the program.

While medical cannabis was legalised in Australia in 2016, it remains difficult to access, and the filmmakers behind documentary High As Mike are pushing for greater reforms in the area.

Idaho News 2 reports on the very beginning in the state……Proponents of a new medical marijuana initiative in Idaho have been cleared to begin collecting signatures. Idaho Secretary of State Lawerence Denney announced Friday that proponents of a new initiative were cleared to begin collecting petition signatures. The measure has to collect 55,067 signatures from registered voters to qualify for the ballot.
