Tyngsboro Select Board approves agreement with marijuana delivery businessPosted by On

TYNGSBORO — The Select Board this week unanimously approved a host community agreement for a marijuana delivery business operating on Old Tyng Road.

Bada Vroom LLC will operate at 44 Old Tyng Road, along with Bada Bloom, which is an already-operational marijuana cultivation business. Michael Marinaro and Tara Hopper Zeltner filed the application for the HCA for both businesses.

In the business plan submitted along with the HCA application, the two say they have prior experience running a cannabis delivery business.

The business plan states, “Bada Vroom!s delivery management has expertise from experience working on the first Adult Use delivery here in MA. This pedigree of experience will be leaned on hard to expedite our launch and customer acquisition strategy which is paramount to success.”

Select Board Chair Ron Keohane reminded the board that Marinaro and Hopper Zeltner indicated their interest in a delivery business at the time they applied for an HCA for the cultivation business.

Select Board member Hillari Wennerstrom questioned Marinaro about layers of security and verification of an orderer’s identity.

Among the planned precaution are verification of user identity through a third-party ordering platform, use of registered agents to transport and dispense marijuana to customers and a required that two licensed agents attend each delivery.

Opening is targeted for later this year, pending approval of the Cannabis Control Commission.
