Legislation (House Bill 1648) to legalize marijuana for everyone 21 and older has been passed by the New Hampshire House of Representatives. The Thursday vote was 236 to 112. Although the measure would unfortunately not legalize marijuana stores, it would legalize the possession of up to 3/4th an ounce of marijuana and would allow personal amounts to be grown at private residences (up to six plants).

Kentucky House Votes to Legalize Marijuana

Kentucky’s House of Representatives has approved legislation to legalize medical marijuana. The vote on House Bill 136 was 65 to 0: It will now be sent to the Senate, where passage will send it to the governor for consideration. Kentucky is one of just 17 states where marijuana isn’t legal in some fashion. As noted by High Times, 90% of Kentucky residents say they support legalizing medical marijuana according to a Kentucky Health Issues poll from a few weeks ago.
