According to new research the daily administration of cannabidiol (CBD) – a non-psychoactive compound found in marijuana – reduces symptoms of social anxiety disorder (SAD) in teens. This is based on a new study published in the journal Frontiers in Psychology and titled Anxiolytic effects of repeated cannabidiol treatment in teenagers with social anxiety disorder.

The St Louis Post Dispatch reports… A southwest Missouri family that saw its application to grow medical marijuana rejected by the state is now suing the state, demanding a license to participate in Missouri’s fledgling medical cannabis industry. The lawsuit filed Friday by Paul Callicoat and his family, of Sarcoxie, Missouri, came a day after the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services granted 60 licenses from the more than 500 companies that applied.

Illinois and the US territory of Guam legalized adult-use cannabis and its retail sale, medical cannabis programs were enacted and expanded in several states, and 27 states considered legislation that would have legalized adult-use cannabis, a record-high.

It is rightful to say that the “battle” regarding the legalization of marijuana in Indiana would be kept uninterrupted until 2020. The new year is approaching, yet the state is already in full gear to take prohibition of hemp-derived products at the next level. It might be legal to keep the pot in its neighbor states specifically Illinois and Michigan but Indiana is firm with its decision to break away from the green hype.

Below is the Motely Fool piece and as it says, yes, the SAFE Banking act appears to be a great idea but the Republicans in the Senate have no intention of passing anything that’s come from the Democrat controlled house.
