May 23, 2023 – Fresno Police Department officials report that Southeast DST officers conducted a probation compliance check at a residence. The subject was on probation for being a felon in possession of a firearm. Upon arrival, officers saw a male hide a bag on the side of the residence. The hidden bag was determined to contain a firearm and ammunition.
During a further search of the residence, an additional firearm, magazines, ammunition and over 100 pounds of marijuana were located. The subject on probation was arrested and booked on numerous firearm charges and the probation violation.
