Chicago NORML set to host first 2024 meeting
The 103rd General Assembly is set to start Jan. 16, and with a new legislation session inevitably comes new proposed cannabis laws. Chicago NORML is set to host its first monthly meeting of the year to discuss the state of medical cannabis before the next legislation session begins.
The meeting is set for Jan. 7, from at 2 p.m.-3:30 p.m. “We will be discussing the state of the medical cannabis in Illinois and what effective strategies we can use to deal with some of the issues medical cannabis patients are having,” said Chicago NORML Executive Director Arianne Richards.
Attendees must register for the virtual Zoom meeting. This will be an in-person and online meeting format. The virtual (Zoom Room) meeting is free to attend and open to the public. To register, visit this link. The virtual meeting URL can be found here.
Chicago NORML supports the mission of the NORML Foundation and also “strives specifically to educate and motivate communities of color to destigmatize and accept the cannabis plant as a vehicle for health & wellness, political, and economic empowerment.”
