Review: White Wedding Prerolls by Crops
What’s better than a preroll? Seven prerolls. That’s what many Illinois cultivators are betting on as they release smaller, shareable multipack versions of prerolls. I reviewed Crops’ White Wedding, from Justice Cannabis Co., as flower back in July, and I returned to the cultivar as part of a preroll pack for this review.
White Wedding is a hybrid cross of Girl Scout Cookies and Wedding Mints. This batch of flower tested at 0.17% CBGa, 1.09% Delta 9 THC, 24.38% THCa, and 25.64% total cannabinoids. Terpenes were 2.76% of the total weight with b-caryophyllene, limonene, and linalool being the most prevalent.
Seven stubby half-gram prerolls came lined up in the tin. Tightly packed with a flat folded end, these prerolls benefited from some pre-work rolling between the fingers and lit much more evenly when the tucked end was unfolded and burned away before lighting.
A dry pull and olfactory inspection provided notes of sweet cream and black pepper with hints of sharp cheddar coming through on the finish. The smoke lay on the palate smoothly and left notes of cedar, ground black pepper, and dried basil, all suspended by a rich undertone of heavy cream that persisted throughout the joint. The flavor was lighter than the rich aroma and disappeared from the palate quickly at the exhale.
The small- dose size of these half-gram prerolls created a lighter than usual experience for White Wedding. A light burst of tingles pulsed throughout my body by the end of the preroll, followed closely by an uplifted, irreverent mood. The playful euphoria gave way to a relaxed and open headspace at the half-hour, and instead of the usual heaviness of the GSC genetics, I simply found a clear head and overall physical pain relief. These small joints were a good “as needed” option thanks to the small dose and quick burn time.
