UK: £2m Solihull drugs bust as 40 kilos of cocaine found in town centre

Two men charged in connection with massive bust when van was stopped in Homer Road

Two men have been charged after police found a £2 million drugs stash in Solihull town centre. Police found 40 kilos of cocaine after officers pulled over a van in Homer Road on Saturday, June 24.

Adrian-Constantin Tirnovan, 22, and George-Marius Tirnovan, 27, were charged with possession of drugs with intent to supply and were due to appear at Birmingham Magistrates’ Court today, Monday, June 26. A West Midlands Police statement said: “We’ve seized more than £2 million of Class A drugs and charged two men after stopping a van in Solihull.

“We pulled over a suspicious vehicle in Homer Road, Solihull town centre, on Saturday afternoon, June 24, and found 40 kilos of cocaine. Adrian-Constantin Tirnovan, aged 22, and George-Marius Tirnovan, 27, were arrested and since been charged with possession of drugs with intent to supply. They were remanded to appear before Birmingham Magistrates Court today.”
