Review: Mango 1:1 Hash Drops by Aerīz
I’m a firm believer in the full spectrum approach to cannabis use. While I’m not one to turn down distillate-based edibles, my favorite infused treats use more robust main ingredients. Aerīz released full-spectrum hash-oil based gummies last year, and I’ve been waiting to get my hands on them since. I was finally able to pick up a pack of Mango Delight 1:1 Hash Drops at Trinity Compassionate Care.
Aerīz Mango 1:1 Hash Drops come as 20 individual gummies with 5mg of THC and 5mg of CBD per piece. The ingredients are sugar, corn syrup, water, fruit concentrate, pectin, fruit flavor concentrate, malic acid, MCT, full spectrum cannabis oil, CBD, natural color, sodium citrate, and lecithin.
I rarely comment on packaging alone, but the custom-white metal tin carrying these gummies was a fun nod to old school mint tins and luxurious in a market filled with mylar bags. Inside, a layer of wax paper separated two layers of ten half-sphere shaped sunflower yellow gummies.
The hash drops had the consistency of a high quality gumdrop candy with a moist center and just enough resistance to the teeth. On the top end of the flavor profile, sweet ripe mango brought a natural freshness, followed closely by an earthy and herbal combination from Aerīz’s CO2 extracted full spectrum hash oil. Despite the clear cannabis flavor, the finish was still clean and fresh leaving me wanting more after each gummy.
The hash drops set it at the 30-minute mark, and the effect profile was stronger than a traditional 1:1 gummy. A strong physical warmth and pressure started in my core and expanded outward to my entire body at the peak of the high. A haze clouded my awareness, and my attitude shifted toward playful and irreverent. The heavy effect profile made the hash drops a good fit for pain relief at low doses and as a night cap to help wind down at high doses. For more Illinois News Joint reviews, visit here.
