Texas: Police take 200-plus pounds of goods with illegal levels of THC from Bee Hippy Hemp

Over 200 pounds of items containing illegal levels of THC were seized by police from a CBD and hemp shop in downtown Garland.

Garland police said customers who bought goods at “bee Hippy Hemp Dispensary” believed they were buying legal hemp products but some showed THC levels as high as 95.3%. New details from police come one week after officers and the Dallas Drug Enforcement Administration task force served multiple warrants related to the sale of illegal narcotics at the store.

In a release, police called the test results “alarming.”

On June 7, police arrested the owner, 41-year-old Christopher Fagan, and the store manager, 55-year-old David Dranguet. Fagan faces charges of delivery of marijuana under 5 pounds, and Dranguet faces charges of delivery of under 4 grams and two counts of delivery of marijuana under 5 pounds.
