Review: Red Headed Stranger Live Resin Vape Cart by Revolution
While musicians and cannabis have always been intertwined, few have been as outspoken as Willie Nelson. From serving as an Advisory Board member for NORML to his 2010 possession arrest, weed is part of Willie’s brand. To celebrate the Willie Nelson vibe and 1975 concept album, I picked up from Enlightened Mt. Prospect Revolution Cannabis’s live resin vape cart offering of Red Headed Stranger to review.
Red Headed Stranger is a sativa-dominant hybrid cross of Tom Hill’s Haze and Williams Wonder. This live resin vape cart tested at 0.19% CBDa, 18.37% THCa, 65.22% THC, and 88.01% total cannabinoids. The indicated terpenes were β-myrcene, α-pinene, limonene, β-caryophyllene, and ocimene.
I screwed the cart into my battery, and noticing the exceptionally light straw coloring, I opted for the lowest possible voltage. Even at this low temperature, the flavor had a complexity and density.
Pine, sweet lime, dry hops, and rose gave the initial flavor a sweet and sour contrast with sage, mint, and popcorn coming in at the finish. While there was a lot of variety and depth to the flavor, the aroma was very light making this vape particularly discrete.
Red Headed Stranger was a true sativa experience. My mindscape became clear and open, making mental space for enhanced creativity and focus. Even at higher doses, I was motivated and energetic and enjoyed Red Headed Stranger before working.
Tingly euphoria that hit every part of my body characterized the physical portion of the experience, driving home the sativa classification. The Revolution Red Headed Stranger Vape Carts energetic profile made it a great fit for a wake and bake or work, and I look forward to trying other forms of the strain.
