Nearly 260 cannabis plants have been seized by police from a “large and sophisticated” crop on a property south of Adelaide.

SA Police (SAPOL) attended the property, on Seascape View at Sellicks Beach, just after 9:30am on Saturday.
During a search, officers uncovered the hydroponic cannabis crop being grown in six rooms inside the property.
In a statement, SAPOL said officers arrested a 51-year-old man and a 51-year-old woman, both from Sellicks Beach, and charged them with cultivating a commercial quantity of a controlled drug, possessing prescribed equipment and diverting electricity.
The pair have been bailed to appear in the Christies Beach Magistrates Court on July 23.
