Lindsay Robinson Joins MAPS As Director of Development

This is what she says

Joining the MAPS team is a dream come true!

For the past decade, I have been in awe witnessing MAPS’ growth and influence on drug policy reform and creating pathways to healing trauma throughout our society.

While I have been working in cannabis advocacy for over 20 years, it’s both exciting and humbling to be able to contribute to MAPS’ history-changing, groundbreaking mission.

Joining MAPS as Development Director during this auspicious time furthers my own pursuit and passion for social justice and my unwavering dedication to making this world a better place through advocacy and policy reform.

For the past six years, I have served as the Executive Director of the California Cannabis Industry Association. CCIA is the most influential statewide trade association representing the regulated cannabis industry and plays a critical role in the legislative and regulatory efforts across the state. I am also on the National Advisory Council for the Center for Medicinal Cannabis Research (CMCR) at UC San Diego.

Prior to CCIA, I was the Director of Development for the Marijuana Policy Project, which has played a critical role in most state-level cannabis policy reforms. I led MPP’s national fundraising and membership strategies, and I worked on policy reform efforts at both the state and federal levels.

I am so inspired by the commitment and generosity of our vibrant, caring community of supporters–like you. Together, we will continue to empower change, advocate for healing and justice, and create a better world. I am thrilled to embark on this journey alongside each of you!

And if you’re planning to attend the upcoming Psychedelic Science 2023 conference in Denver this month, I look forward to meeting you there!

With heartfelt gratitude,

Lindsay Robinson
