Full Job Description
Offit Kurman is seeking a corporate attorney (private company corporate governance, commercial transactions, and M&A) with cannabis regulatory law experience to join its growing Cannabis Law practice. The ideal candidate will have experience representing industry operators (cultivators, processors, dispensaries, independent testing labs, transportation companies and/or other ancillary businesses) before Maryland regulatory agencies. Similar work experience in other jurisdictions is preferred but not required.
Requirements:
- At least five years of general corporate law experience.
- At least two years of cannabis industry regulatory experience with a focus on representation of industry operators before Maryland regulatory agencies.
- Must be licensed in Maryland; or qualify for waiver into the Bar of Maryland; or be willing to sit for the Bar of Maryland.
- Ability to work on challenging products in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills
