College of the Desert, a California Community College has developed 3 interesting professional courses for those new to the Cannabis industry.
Located in the Coachella Valley where cannabis is the fastest growing industry. Certificates are issued through the college’s Professional learning division in: Cannabis Human Resources & Compliance.
They also offer courses in Cultivation and How to get a job in the industry. The courses are all offered via Zoom some on Saturdays and some during weekdays.
The University of California at Riverside has partnered with Green Flower to create a for-credit Business of Cannabis Certificate.
I do have some concerns regarding the value of this professional certificate.
Potential students need to satisfy themselves through independent research that any professional certificate will do what it declares in terms of obtaining a job after completion of the program.
