Good evening – As a reminder, the Nevada Cannabis Compliance Board (CCB) will begin accepting applications for cannabis consumption lounges at 8 a.m. (PT) tomorrow, October 14, 2022.

Applications must be completed and submitted in the Accela Cannabis Customer Portal: https://aca-prod.accela.com/NVCCB/Default.aspx. Payments can be made either online or in-person at the CCB offices in Las Vegas or Carson City.

Online tools, FAQs, and other resources for applicants can be found on the CCB’s Consumption Lounges page: https://ccb.nv.gov/nevada-cannabis-program/#item-2.

The CCB will issue two types of consumption lounge licenses: retail and independent. Based on interest and eligibility, the CCB anticipates an estimated 40-45 retail sales facilities will be able to apply for a consumption lounge license. Currently, the CCB does not have an estimate for how many independent consumption lounge applications may be submitted. Per state law, the CCB may issue 20 independent consumption lounge licenses, half of which are designated for social equity applicants.

The application window will close at 5 p.m. (PT) on October 27, 2022. More details can be found in the attached notice issued by the CCB on September 14, 2022.

Thank you,
