Oregon Psilocybin Services: Community Interest Survey Findings Report – Now Available

Here’s their update

Oregon Psilocybin Services: Community Interest Survey Findings Report – Now Available
Good Morning,

The Oregon Psilocybin Services Section published a report today that summarizes findings from a recent community interest survey. The survey was designed to better understand who may be interested in accessing psilocybin services, facilitator training program approval, and licensure.

Over 4,420 people responded to the community interest survey between January 7 and February 6, 2022. Eighty-nine percent of respondents who indicated interest in accessing psilocybin services live in Oregon.

The full Community Interest Survey Findings Report can be found here: https://www.oregon.gov/oha/PH/PREVENTIONWELLNESS/Pages/Psilocybin-Community-Interest-Survey.aspx

Oregon Psilocybin Services (OPS) is still in its development phase and will use the survey data to prepare for licensing and compliance work that will begin January 2, 2023, when OHA begins receiving applications for licensure.

We would like to thank our advisory board members, partners, community members across the state of Oregon, and members of the public for participating in the Community Interest Survey. We deeply appreciate the collaboration and partnership as we implement the Oregon Psilocybin Services Act (M109).

Sincerely,

The Oregon Psilocybin Services Team
